Central London’s award winning RSA House is a focal point for social change and enlightened thinking, whilst being at the forefront of numerous discoveries and inventions. Providing an inspiring venue for any occasion, its charming Georgian features are balanced with progressive technology, alongside friendly and attentive service. From high ceilinged and bright rooms to the atmospheric exposed brick vaults, the House offers a selection of versatile spaces for hire, all with their own unique stories, accommodating groups of up to 220.

Eating & Drinking

Situated above the RSA’s Vaults, Rawthmells offers all day dining (8:30am – 8:30pm), and seating across a variety of spaces. The space will also give access to superb thought provoking content delivered by the RSA events team. Designed to get the conversation started, Rawthmells makes a fantastic new option for socialising pre-or-post event, as well as being an inspiring co-working space.

Creating the enlightenment coffeehouse has involved a significant amount of work including the transformation of two entire floors of the House over a 9 month period, and opening up hidden parts of the building for the very first time. Rawthmells is a natural home for anyone who wants to change the world, enabling people to connect, share knowledge, collaborate, and drink good coffee

Providing a platform for the world’s leading thinkers, encouraging intelligent public discussion, the RSA hosts over 150 lectures, screenings and debates a year — all of them free. Expert speakers address education, science, the arts, politics, the economy and more. You can be part of translating new ideas into practical change and realising people’s hopes for a better world.
