We are looking for volunteers from our local community and businesses to take part in the 60-minute Makeover of Strand on Thursday 4th May, 2023
What is it
A 60-minute action-packed clean up event to clean and brighten Strand. Working together to clean a mile of pavements, highlight our historic buildings and enhance our environment.

On-street security briefings take place on the third Thursday of the month at 11am in The Northbank. These briefings are for those with an interest in the safety and security of the area, particularly those working in security. Last month’s briefing focused on the new pedestrianised space, Strand Aldwych, and addressed security concerns such as phone snatching and theft.
