Northbank BID's Mental Health Discussion – Understanding Suicide

Join us for a discussion on mental health and understanding some of the processes that underlie suicidal thoughts.

Suicide is the most frequent cause of drowning in the River Thames, accounting for 90% of all deaths. Suicide related incidents account for approximately one half of the Search and Rescue (SAR) missions on the river.

Hear from those involved directly in the field as they present to you their story and answer questions in a Q&A session.

This exhibition in the Arcade at Bush House is the culmination of the Arts in Dentistry Innovation Programme – an experimental arts-based approach that has brought new perspectives to the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences’ aim to understand disease, enhance health and restore function.

Christmas at the Museum

Santa will be visiting the London Transport Museum throughout December! Visit him in his secret hideaway, full of twinkling lights and comfy seats, or see if you can track him down in one of the heritage vehicles in the Museum for a super Santa selfie.

Black History Month: Africa in the Courtyard

BFI London Film Festival: Northbank Pop-Up Film Experience

Launching especially for London Film Festival, a new immersive film experience is set to entice visitors to The Northbank area. This free pop-up installation on Villiers Street, just moments away from the Embankment Garden Cinema, will be open throughout the festival showing BFI archive film of The Northbank area, including the riverside, Trafalgar Square and Victoria Embankment Gardens. The pop-up also features the fabulous performer Jonny Woo and a stunning audio of his poem, 'I Know Your Name'.
