Most people who visit London see the familiar sights of Westminster and hear about the famous people that are referred to in British history or in the daily news. But there are some ‘ordinary folks’ who because of their ethnicity are not so well known but their story is just as important.

Aldwych Re-Imagined – Westminster Walking Tour

Over the next 4 years, the Aldwych and Strand area of the West End referred to as Northbank will undergo a transformation that will bring substantial improvements for both pedestrians and the buildings that have been surrounded by lanes of busy vehicular traffic. The last major transformation that currently defines the area of Aldwych was completed in 1905. That involved the clearance of buildings and ancient streets.
