Events Manager (Maternity Cover)

Key objectives
- Commissioning events which raise the BID profile and engage with levy payers, residents, and visitors;
- Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery of events;
Key responsibilities
- Helping set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every project;
- Being responsible for all annual events the annual budgets ensuring the events are delivered within budget;
- Maintain and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including local business, external agencies, senior managers and internal colleagues;
- Securing permissions from outside authorities including Westminster City Council, to host events where required;
- Instructing and managing third party suppliers;
- Liaising and coordinating suppliers, partners and key stakeholders;
- Contributing to the BIDs’ wider marketing strategy;
- Supporting other BID team members in delivering their themed events;
- Attending and co-leading the quarterly Destination Steering Group meetings with the Marketing Manager;
- Working with the marketing team to deliver or commission events marketing material;
- Providing content for the BIDs’ online channels to promote the events programme;
- Liaising with designers and printers;
- Negotiating contracts with external suppliers to optimise value;
- Organising event photography and video production;
- Exercise analysis to drive improvements;
- To be an ambassador for the company at all times internally and externally
