Street services to improve the experience in the area.
Our dedicated street cleaning team provides an additional cleansing service to enhance the area and ensure environmental issues are resolved quickly. Combined with our network of on-street planting that brings life and colour to our streets, we are creating a more attractive place to work, live and visit.
We work closely with asset managers, Westminster City Council, GLA, Transport for London and property owners to bring investment for local area enhancement.
The BID offers a preferred supplier discount of 10% for all recycling, waste and specialist services with Westminster City Council commercial waste services. This is part of the BID’s work in sustainability to reduce vehicle movements, promote the use of electric and pedal vehicles and improve waste consolidation. Veolia is contracted by Westminster City Council to deliver cleansing and commercial waste services in Westminster and their commercial service is not for profit. To discuss your waste requirements please email James Mason and mention the Northbank BID preferred supplier scheme.Find out more
We know that people are attracted to clean, green areas for business and leisure, so to enhance The Northbank’s Public Realm reputation we are carrying out daily cleaning and reporting.
The team works closely with Westminster City Council to provide a more targeted street cleaning and additional services like chewing gum and graffiti removal, and jet washing. The Northbank Ambassadors also carry out reporting of street maintenance issues to Westminster and TfL to ensure issues are resolved quickly.
The BID provides an on-call street cleaning service to respond within one hour to cleansing issues from our members. Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 16:00. To use the service, please call 07934845503.
