Our friendly team of Ambassadors provide a warm welcome to visitors to the Northbank, from Londoners and tourists alike. Encouraging footfall into the local economy, our team help with expert directions and personal recommendations. As the face of the Northbank our ambassadors engage with our businesses to pass on the latest BID news and events or just to check how they are doing.
Our ambassadors also keep an eye out for street faults and hazards, such as dangerous paving, damaged road signs and broken street lights. These issues are reported to Westminster or Transport for London and monitored, helping to improve the street experience and making them that little bit safer for everyone.
Our professional, SIA licensed team to provide assistance to local businesses, helping to deter anti-social behaviour and low-level crime. Working closely with the Met, Westminster and local outreach charities our team talk with the Northbank’s street population, doing welfare checks and signposting local services to help them find pathways off the streets.
Working Monday to Friday our seven clean team members provide a fantastic additional service alongside the council’s own provision. As well as sweeping up litter leaves our team clean and remove the majority of graffiti and stickers from our walls and street furniture.
The Northbank’s electric vehicle has had an exciting new make-over. Providing a responsive janitorial service across the footprint during the day, our little blue van is out with our Night Team jet-washing our pavements, removing chewing gum and deep staining between 2200-06:00 Sunday to Thursday.
If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to get in touch, the Northbank office can be contacted Monday-Friday between 09:00-17:00pm
