The BID were delighted to host the inaugural ‘Walk & Wheel’ for All Party Parliamentary Group for Cycling & Walking’.
Together with Westminster City Councillor Paul Dimoldenberg and Westminster Officers who worked on the scheme, we explained about the scheme ethos and enhancements to air quality and walking environment. It was fantastic to showcase the scheme to Dr Will Norman, GLA’s Walking and Cycling Commissioner and Labour MP Daniel Zeichner along with the multidisciplinary group of active travel specialists and supporters including: London Living Streets, Sustrans, Cycling UK, University of Westminster, Bikeability, Urban Movement, Ramblers, Transport Planning Society, Go Jauntly, Guide Dogs.
It was great to work with the Footways London team and show that our London district needs to attract all people and in all weathers.
