Join Northbank BID and Sunny Jar Eco Hub on their mission to reduce people’s waste, by making low waste living easy and accessible for all.
Are you conscious about what’s in your cleaning products and how it may affect your health and the environment? Why don’t you join the Sunny Jar Team and learn how to make your own natural cleaning products, reduce the use of toxic chemicals and live low waste!
In this relaxed and informal workshop, you will learn the many household uses of bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar. You will make a toilet cleaner and an all-purpose spray from simple and earth-friendly ingredients and leave with recipe cards to take home. Our experienced facilitators will guide you step-by-step through the recipes and share tips on green cleaning the home.
A perfect workshop to learn a new skill, share tips on low waste living and meet like-minded people. All tools and materials will be provided. Making your own cleaning products will save you money, reduce packaging waste and is less harmful for your health and the environment.
The BID is offering this FREE of charge to make the Northbank a better place to be and work and the activity will take about 1 hour.
We anticipate high volumes of interest for these workshops, register to avoid disappointment.
