The Northbank has changed over the centuries and continues to evolve – and while its assets are significant, like many districts across the globe, the area is facing a future in flux. The need to deal with the climate emergency and adapt to changing trends, many brought forward by the COVID pandemic, is forcing place shapers, policymakers and all city users to change behaviours and put forward innovative solutions. This thinking is already underway here, making it the perfect backdrop for us to consider what the city’s future might look like.
With this in mind, we are hosting a pop-up exhibition open to the public for two weeks. It will seek to entertain, inform and inspire, as we look ahead to how London is evolving and what we need our cities to offer all of us who work, live or visit them in the future.
