Selected randomly from a list of surnames in a telephone directory, the Smith & Wollensky brand was created in 1977 and the first restaurant opened that same year in New York. The flagship green and white building in New York was the springboard for a boutique collection of iconic locations around the US, and, as of June 2015, our first restaurant outside of the US – located in the landmark Adelphi Building right here in London.

Their steaks are USDA Prime, dry-aged and butchered on-site, making them the only steakhouse in London which offers a cut of meat that combines all three. Sitting alongside these are patriotic British and Irish cuts and premium seafood together with locally-sourced ingredients from the very best UK suppliers.

Renowned American hospitality runs throughout their restaurant, from the warm welcome at the door to the knowledgeable staff at your table, making your experience an enjoyable one from your first drink to your last bite.

Friday-Saturday: 12pm-midnight
Sunday: 12pm – 5pm

Choose The Theodore Roosevelt Room for exclusive use of a private bar and a dedicated barman or for more intimate gatherings reserve the Liberty or Churchill dining rooms.
