Social Bite

Social Bite is a charity and social business with a vision that everyone should have a safe place to call home. They help people break the cycle of homelessness through supported housing and employment programmes, and give out over 250,000 items of free food year-round through their coffee shops and community networks.  Their pioneering work has been championed by the likes of George Clooney, Sir Chris Hoy and The Duchess of Cambridge.  Originating in Scotland, Social Bite on the Strand is their first coffee shop in London, launched in March in partnership with BaxterStorey and Coutts.  It offers job opportunities for people experiencing homelessness and provides free food by encouraging customers to ‘Pay-it-Forward’.
