The church is open every day and visitors are welcome to attend a service for prayer and reflection, a concert or one of the many events. Visitors are also welcome to walk-in and experience the
beautifully restored architecture as long as a ticketed event is not taking place.
Concerts in the serene yet warm and welcoming church are a magical experience. Outstanding music and artists enrich the cultural life at St Martin’s, with internationally renowned musicians performing every week in a series of outstanding classical concerts, Crypt Lates, candlelight and lunchtime concerts, along with the popular Crypt Cafe, gift shop and lecture series. Booking tickets in advance is highly recommended.
Cafe in the Crypt
Named the Café/Bistro of the Year in the Food Awards London 2020, the Café in the Crypt is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Trafalgar Square and the perfect place for a snack or
meal if you’re going to a concert in the church or visiting a nearby attraction. The daily changing menu of freshly prepared food, sustainably sourced whenever possible, is great value for local
workers and visitors on the tourist trail. It’s also the atmospheric setting of the Crypt Lates, where the iconic vaulted Crypt transforms into an atmospheric music and cabaret venue, with a fully
stocked bar and great food options.
Open all year around, the shop, situated in the Crypt, is a great place to find cards, gifts, books and homeware, which are fairtrade and unique, hitting just the right note.
St Martin’s has a long tradition of hospitality and welcome. From our pioneering work with homeless people through to hosting VIPs, politicians and dignitaries, St Martin’s doors are open to all.
The stunning historic buildings have been enhanced by contemporary design and feature delicious in-house catering and a dedicated events team. One of the finest Georgian buildings in London, St Martin’s is the parish church to the Royal Family and 10 Downing Street. It also hosts two of the country’s leading homeless support charities and is a world-renowned concert venue.
It has a range of unique, practical, and elegant spaces perfect for conferences, meetings, networking, dinners and receptions. From one to 500 people, they tailor each event to your exact requirements. And when you host with them you can be confident that you are supporting our work. Each space is the very best in function, form and facilities and bring character to any event. They have eight individual rooms within St Martin’s, designed to work together seamlessly to form multi- zone spaces. For example, they can easily create dedicated areas for lectures, breakouts,
refreshments, or networking within one event.
