Environmental, Social & Governance

The BID’s CSR strategy encourages businesses to make a positive impact on the environment, local residents, employees and visitors.

With a bustling business community from local coffee shops to luxury hotels and independent dance companies to global management consultants, all of our businesses, of their sector or size, recognise that their employees or customers are their greatest assets to business growth and competitive advantage.

Throughout the year the BID aims to address a number of themes including positive wellbeing, education and apprenticeships, volunteering and wise-giving activities.

A number of projects and seminars will be delivered to address these and the BID will also support local SME’s through the delivery of workshops whilst engaging with local schools to equip students for the world of work.

With the promotion of diversity and inclusivity through our projects the BID, in conjunction with the business community, will showcase the Northbank as a great place to work with endless opportunity.
